Time to retire & stop workin for other folks... Sold the farm & bought 450 acres of mountains up in Montana... Moving around Easter...

What ever happened to folks from here actually getting together??? This site was soooooo much more fun way back when... Hell, I had a group of folks from all over the country come down once for a BBQ/Campout weekend (actually hosted 2 or 3 such events every year for about 10 years with anywhere from 40-250 peeps)...

still won't believe it till it happens. lol. just can't see a busy body like ya, hanging it up. Think ya will become a stark raving mad man in the mountains.

Miss the reds gang not alot of them active on here and noticed a few who have had their account hacked like mine was.

Ya going to be passing through here or cutting over and up through Colorado on your move up North?

SIS.... Just cuz I am not gonna be workin for anyone else does NOT mean I'll be sittin on my arse twiddlin my thumbs...I am figurin it will take me most of this summer to get a cabin, green house, horse barn & wolf shelter built before I can finish movin. Then after spring thaw next year I will start on building the main house... I normally cut diagonally across TX, catch the corner of NM & zip up I-25 through CO & WY into MT... Course I could be talked into an alternative route IF "someone" had it in mind to pass out some huggles & such....

oh yeah,,, it WILL happen... I already sold my place in TX, bought the place in Montana & have NOTHING to keep me in TX....just waiting until the ground thaws out so I can dig the foundations... since that has to be done first, no reason to go up until the work can start... besides, I don't retire until Easter...

would try to detour ya through Kansas, but the scenery is much better through Colorado

I'll be felling the timber, milling the lumber and doing the building myself.....
l will have all the mountain views I need once I get there...(well earth type mountains)... I would have NO problem bypassin CO for a view (also huggles & such) of another type of KS mountains...

I worked as a guide... navigation has never been a problem for me... Only issue I have is getting permission to explore...
