He didn't see his shadow here in eastern Canada so here's hoping for an early spring

For those who dont know we have an "old wives tale" which states that the Groundhog comes out of his burrow on Feb. 2 and if its sunny and he sees his shadow, it scares him and he goes back in his burrow and hibernates for another 6 weeks. If not its a sign of an early spring.

started in punxetawny pennsylvania,,, where the movie took place... with all the tv lights, he rarely stays out,,,

but go figure 6 weeks after today spring starts no matter lol

Only had to have a fire in the fireplace twice this winter.

above freezing during the day below freezing at night for the sap to run,,,,,,,,,,,,,,1 out of 5 days like that here
