Right now? No. Any woman who happens to find this site and lives within a hundred miles of you will likely leave after a quick passover of the site.

But is the site past saving? Also no. What this site needs is advertising in places real people frequent.

User advertising could make a big difference, write adds that are upfront about both the fact that no credit card is needed, as well a warning about the type of content found here and the fact that there are currently few members, and post them in places like tumblr or facebook or even craigslist and this website could find new life.
Of course, this would require the efforts of as many members of the site as is possible.

hell no. making it require payment would take away the only thing it has going for it. Having to pay for an adult oriented social networking site is bullshit in the first place. If a non-adult themed social networking site tried to charge users it would go bankrupt instantly. the only reason dating sites are able to get away with it is because most people who use them are too ashamed to stand up publicly and say something.

I would assume that most of the money would come from the sites in the banner adds as there is no way businesses like kik or skype would want their names associated with sites like this. you ever wonder how sites like facebook, myspace, tumblr, youtube etc. managed to make it big without ever charging users a dime? its a combination of being paid to have adds on site and doing advertisements for themselves offsite.

the only reason the free model isn't working is because there is no advertisement for this site so there is not enough foot traffic leading into the site.

also, I have investigated plenty of required fee sites, they still have bots and scammers, many of which are endorsed by those sites themselves as a way to get more money and to make users feel like the site is more active than it is.

No, I am saying that the pay to use sites use endorsed bots. Those are the so called "emissaries" that are often mentioned in the terms of use for other sites. Furthermore anyone who uses a site like this will generally expect to find some bots, because they are a problem that all dating sites have. The reason they are so widespread here is a combination of moderators not duing their job reviewing profiles as well as the fact that there are so few real members making it so they stand out even more. A far bigger problem this site has than bots is the attitude of the few people who actually spend more than 5 minutes here before giving up. For example, when people go to the forums and see all those stupid games you people play they feel a real strong urge to get out immediately.

This site doesn't want to get rid of the bots and scammers. The disclaimer when you join us that they never delete profiles and that they don't filter profiles at all. I'm sure they like being able to say x number of messages sent per day, even if 95%+ are copy paste or bot scams. Plus all of the scammers provide great profile thumbnails to provide users.
As for ways to filter out bots, a recaptcha field to make a profile or send a message would prevent that. Scammers would still be able to make profiles but it seems like the users have gotten pretty good at picking them out. The point is there are ways to remove the fakes algorithmically, but I'm not sure the site wants that.

When I say stupid games I mean those "fuck the person above you" things in the forums that have the same 4 or 5 people posting "no" in a giant dick train a thousand posts long that do nothing but take up spots in the forums that could actually be used to attract and talk to real people. As it is when someone new comes in and sees those things their first response will be 99% of the time "nope. i'm outta here" those things scare people away more than any number of bots will.

Yeah there is a redundant amount of those kinds of posts, but others as well.
