And just to make it more confusing, St Andrew wasn't scottish, and St George wasn't English. St Patrick wasn't Irish either. Confused? I am.

St Andrew was born in Galilee, Israel, and we shared him with , Barbados, Georgia, Ukraine, Russia, Sicily, Greece, Cyprus, Romania, So there ya have it...lol
St George was born in St circa 280 in Cappadocia, an area that is now part of Turkey.
