I think one should focus on finding someone who is compatible. Some older people are in great shape and see most of their life ahead of them. I do not think it(big age differences in relationships) should be taboo, but I do think one should always try hard to get into the type of relationship that will work out really well for both oneself and ones partner, no matter the age difference.

surely age is just a number and it is down to the individuals involved. Older successful men have been going with younger women for years without anyone batting an eyelid, why shouldn't that be extended to everyone. If a younger guy falls for an older woman, or vice versa, fuck it, as long as those involved are having a good time.

Age is not an issue if your consenting adults. I'm 58 and I've had sex with 28 year olds.....if you like their body and they like yours....why not....it's just a physical activity if you really break it down.

As a normal hetero sexual male I would love that, as a concerned parent however I have to wonder if I would appreciate someone my age having sex with my 18 year old daughter (I am sure other parents would agree)

There have been some good relationships between people with quite a difference in age. No need to preclude possibilities. It all is about what is best for the two people involved. There is no law stating people have to be close to the same age in order to get into a committed intimate relationship with each other. Some people may want to pass such a law. I see no need for such a law!
