a friend told me i was lucky so i bought a lottery ticket

friday checked the ticket - i was one number off 26 million

so they gave me a free ticket as a consolation prize --


A free bloody ticket what is that shit - shouldn't i have like got half or something or even a million just to say thanx for playing

people at work were devo -- me i dunno how i feel - i wouldn't know what to do with 26 million -- 1 -- would have dun i'm not greedy.

here in UK you need 6 numbers to win the jackpot but if you get 5,4,3, you also get a lesser price

seems stngy if it is all or nothing

with 4, it can be a few hundred, depending, on how many have 4

with 5, it can be a few thousand
