The real harm comes from people doxing the people depicted in the stolen photos. They then contact the said people and assume they want to be talked dirty to or receive unwanted nudes from strangers. This is highly upsetting to some while others may very well be used to it or possibly enjoy it. Either way this doesn't make it any less slimy and the people often get upset and make threats when they get told to get lost.
