Just now as I read about SassySuzy and the story of her grandparents and of Poppys husband being deployed again and of all you who have heartaches because, you see, I hurt when YOU hurt!! As an old Vietnam veteran I miss my fallen comrads. As one whom has lost relatives I miss those whom have gone on. As one whom has lost loves I remember them from long ago; but you know something fol----? I will always have my memories and I will always remember everyone I have come in contact with;therefore, I can honestly say I can cry when you cry and feel your pain and I will remember you tonight as I talk to my Lord. Thank you for letting me read this!! I'm learning so much from being here. So much!!

im sorry to hear that Yummy.

I cried a couple days ago. An old man in the grocery store, barely could walk, had a cane, trying to get his cart to the car and load his groceries. I had to help him! He was reluctant, saying he must look as bad as he feels - then started to talk about his doctors messing up his hip, healthcare and not being able to afford his meds, etc. I listened. :) Got him loaded, he said thank you Honey, you're a sweetheart and you should be blessed!!! Made me sad to think about his misery - if I had 100 bucks in my pocket Ida given it to him! I have a soft spot for old people (well most of them)

Going to the veterinary yesterday, had to get meds for my kitty. There was a Mommy and her young daughter (probably 6 yrs old) they had their old dog beside them, both were crying. The dog looked in bad shape - they were taken back to a room, I asked the receptionist if they were putting the dog down - yep! Made me cry, that's such a hard decision to make - deciding when it's the right time, when you can let go and do what's right for your pet. My kitty will be 18 in June - thank God he's doing good, but I know the day will come that my heart will be broken when I have to say Goodbye to my lil buddy!

I cried the day my kids graduated, held up pretty good through the ceremony...was the end that got me...going to miss my kids friends that I have enjoyed and watched grow up over the past 12 years and knowing that I have only a couple of months left before my kids head off to college.
