I could write volumes about my hobbies, my desires, my skills and abilities, and my life experiences, but, for right now, I'm just trying to create a quick profile so I can begin looking around and trying some of the more advanced features on the site.

So... I'm divorced--two years, now--with a daughter grown and out on her own. I value courage foremost, with honest and loyalty vying for second place, and I have a deep love for learning and thinking. I read voraciously. I can cook a tasty meal. I can handle all manner of power tools, design and build electronic circuits, program computers from embedded controllers up to database applications and expert systems, and regale you with wryly humorous tales of a life my surgeon calls "interesting." And my truck won't win any car shows, but it's still as close to my heart as a cabellero's horse was to his in days gone by.

I'm interested in finding someone with whom I can build a relationship. I don't think I'm actually built in such manner that I can have just a passing fling, and the idea of such holds far less attraction these days than it might have in my high-school and college days. But I'd be lying through my teeth if I didn't say I'm definitely interested in sex; it's just not *all* that I'm interested in.
