Thanks to everyone reading my profile, well am Paula by name,what is important in this life? Understanding that, paradoxically, will probably take most of the time we have. Many people say that life is short, and they are correct. However, it is also true to say that life is the longest thing that any of us will participate in. Thus far the best things in life I've found are the opportunity to help others and having someone to share life with. Life is a journey not a destination. Hoping to find that special someone to join me on that journey.

I am from the Europe, Berlin Germany originally, but transplanted myself to Texas to live with my mom after many years in Germany already. It’s great here to find adventure and meet new people. My personality is best described as where nerd meets the outdoors. The last movie I saw in the theater was Dr. Strange, and the last place I hiked was Buffalo Bayou. All within the span of 24 hours.

Some similar interests are nice; however, meeting someone with like-mindedness and same core values is the most important factor. Ultimately, if he or she has to give up something they enjoy doing then I believe a strong long lasting relationship is not in the cards. I am loyal, compassionate, and forgiving. My friends and co-workers would say that I am a very considerate and thoughtful person. I laugh at myself all the time.

Family and God are a fundamental importance to me as well.Not just my cousins and extended family, but the friends I choose as family and the family I may create with the one I am still looking for...I cannot tell you how much I want to be in a trusting relationship. I have literally had a relationship where the person was living a double life. I value honesty, even if it hurts, it earns my respect and we can deal with it together. No drama please!.
