jammy rat a person can both speak and read Latin years ago the Catholic mass was done in only in Latin until about 60's when Mass started to use English or the native language in whatever country Now is some places Mass will be in Latin personally that is what i grew up with and i still like to hear a Mass in Latin

I agree with misscougarlady, Latin is mostly a religious language when spoken, but it is pretty to hear.
I would like to learn to read & write it good.
