A fetish is a consistent sexual attraction to a non sexual object or situation.
The word is derived from the Portugese word feticio, meaning "obsessive fascination" and is defined as any object or nonsexual part of the body that causes a habitual erotic response or fixation. It's not something that is a turn-on for you, or something you like, or something that happened to you once, it's something non-sexual that becomes sexual somewhere in your delightfully perverted mind.
Psychologists and medical practitioners regard fetishism as normal variations of human sexuality, however, if a fetish becomes so severe that it interferes with the functions of daily life, it then becomes a paraphilia and is diagnosable as a mental disorder.
To say you have a big cock fetish, or a blow job/car job fetish, or a creampie fetish or even a sex toy fetish does not make sense, as those are sexual parts of the body, sexual items, or sexual situations. You may like them. They may turn you on. They are not fetishes. The only exceptions are voyeurism, exhibitionism, and cuckold, which are sexual situations that are still classified as fetishes.
Feet, hair, urination, leather/rubber/other textiles, BDSM, clothing/stockings/undergarments, shoes/high heels, doctors/nurses/medical scenarios, among others... THESE are common examples of actual fetishes.
