Most folks believe that people base their decisions on what's in it for them. I find the greatest happiness in bringing joy to someone else. This allows me to have unlimited pleasure because someone I know can always benefit form something I can do.

I'm not looking for love or romance. I've been disabled since a car crash and I would just like to find a reason to get out of the house now and then. My mind is wide open and I'm curious about just about everything and I am constantly trying to expand my experiences anywhere it doesn't create disease or pain to others.

I've had a very full and interesting life. Because I have traveled for most of my career I've been to a lot of places and met people of all size, shapes, genders, colors and dispositions. Each new individual teaches me something I didn't know. Sometimes I can be an intellectual asshole, other times I become a ravenous slut willing to do anything that will make someone else experience la petite mort.

I'm not sub and I'm not dom. I'm not top and I'm not bottom. I am open minded and take carpe diem seriously. I do all I can to make sure I never do anything that will bring pain to others. While that doesn't mean that I avoid all temptation, it means that I usually know enough to avoid the toxic crazies.

For 40+ years I was athletic, playing racquetball at least 3 times a week and cycling about 20 miles every day after work. When I tried to drive at 70 mph while sleeping everything changed in an instant. I live at a pain level that most people would give up on. Between the "procedures", the meds and my limited mobility I've found myself the victim of too many calories. Then again, for someone who's supposed to be dead I have enough strength and determination that I can walk when I need to. I do my best not let anyone know what Kind of day I'm having while avoiding anything that would make it worse. Anytime I can find just a little pleasure to cast a brief shadow on the pain, it's an appreciated miracle.

Fortunately I can still read. That's what I do most of the time. My screen time is mostly documentaries while my reading list is primarily non-fiction on just about any subject. The neat thing about "retirement" is that I get to pursue any subject I like instead of keeping up on all the latest technological innovations.
