I don't know if I'm here for anything. Pretty sure nothing serious. (The "separated" is seriously separated; I haven't seen her in about 13 years. I don't really care too much and the only way I'd need to push to have it finalised is if I did end up in a new relationship.)

So, I'm not interested in just sexting or anything like that.

I live in St. Pete, Florida and I might just want some fun around here.

I am taking a trip to Nashville in January. Just a couple of days and think it would be fun to fool around a bit up there.

I studied mechanical engineering, was in the Air Force, and then studied history and art (but not art history) and psychology. I paint and do a little sculpting now and then. Some photography. I'm trying to get going a a professional artist now; I have pieces hanging in a gallery here.

I mostly grew up in NW Missouri. I have lived in Texas briefly, Germany, Greece, and the UK. Unfortunately, I had to pay for my sins from Europe by living in North Dakota for half a decade. I've lived in Oregon and now I'm in Florida.

I enjoy music, both classical and classic rock.

I read a lot. Speculative fiction, mostly. Some of my favourite authors include Heinlein, Clarke, and Harlan Ellison (if you know about the Quiet Lies the Locust Tells, you should understand that).

I'm a lousy chess player. I enjoy it, but I never had someone to challenge me when I was young so I'm not very good.

I love old movies (but not much of what gets made now). Watch The Thin Man to understand why I am in love with Myrna Loy. The Princess Bride is the single greatest film ever made.

I sometimes wear a kilt.
