I am a retired 69 year old white college-educated, unmarried engineer and computer programmer living in western New York. After four years of living and working in a monastery (as a secular employee, not a monk), I returned to the 'real' world and my real profession -- engineering. My years at the monastery were gainful spiritually, emotionally and even physically, but my long term goals were not realizable in the confines of that cloistered environment. And I really missed interaction with those of the 'female persuasion.' Now I'm ready to make up for lost time.
