Just a Canadian lad. Looking for some fun and adventure with likewise open minded people. I've always had a dream to create a national Strip Trivial Pursuit league... but that'll probably stay a dream :D One of my old, now no longer on AS friends used this as the main focus of her profile page. I loved the idea and she gave me permission to steal it and pass it off as my own.
Here's 26 random things about me...

1.I like Dr. Pepper. But Diet Dr. Pepper these days... have to keep my girlish figure and all that.
2.I like my job because it mixes technical know-how with creative application
3.I don't have voice mail on my cellphone because it's for my convenience and not everyone else's
4.I've often thought that if I was born in an earlier era I probably would have wanted to be a blacksmith.
5.Five is one of my favourite numbers
6.I have an almost pathological enjoyment of bacon
7.I used to play bass in a jam band (think Phish meets Broken Social Scene) but I haven't touched a bass in about a decade
8.When I was very young, my parents decided my hair should look like a cross between a mushroom cloud and a dandelion with a part.
9.My parents have an extremely poor sense of style
10.I once stayed up for 36 hours... it wasn't all that much fun
11.I was an assistant manager at a Little Caesars for 3 years, it wasn't so much a job as a stress test for the soul
12.I worked on a short film in which I could speak neither of the two languages appearing in the film
13.Despite my best efforts, I remember my Role Playing Games period fondly
14.I've always wanted to be involved in a game of Truth or Dare but the opportunity has never presented itself
15.When I was a kid I wanted to be a teacher

18.I recently discovered that you can be only 99.99(etc)% sure that there's no god and still be an atheist. I am an atheist.
19.I vote NDP in nearly every election unless there's a danger of a tight Liberal/CPC race, in which case I vote Liberal. I believe that conservatism could only work if there were no large cities.
20.As a summer job, I used to operate what was, at the time, the 3rd largest ferris wheel in the world. Potentially, that was the best job I ever had.
21.I find it annoying when people mistake education for intellect.
22.I didn't have my driver's licence until I was 22.
23.I had my wisdom teeth out when I was in my 30's... and whatever they injected me with was extremely pleasant.
24.I played hockey when I was a kid and I miss it.
25.When I turned 25, I was in Mississippi shooting a documentary about the role of the Devil in the delta blues. Waking up that morning, I felt that I was headed in exactly the right direction in my life.
26.I can't think of a really exciting 26th thing, so I'm going out on this thought.
