A successful career beats the alternative, but it can come at a cost. Yes, I am in good health, financially secure, and beyond, but I miss not having a special someone to share that/them with. And to be shared with. I am not necessarily looking for someone like me (God no), but someone of depth, a great sense of humor (you will need it), and comfortable in her own skin. I love the broader world and enjoy traveling, but I am also happy on my old boat or in front of a fireplace. I don't need to be going someplace all the time, just as long as I know there is a someplace out there that I have not yet experienced or one that I want to experience again, with you.

I can be playful and can ham it up for the camera. I love words, books, poetry, prose and a well said quote. Photography, handicrafts, and the smell of rosemary... basil, too. I can be a little shy at first. But if I feel an attraction, that will wear off and I will be chatty and touching your arm and taking in your scent. Oh, and smiling alot. I really like smiles. A woman with an easy smile is much more likely to get my attention then any other attribute.

I love music. I like to sing (won't quit my day job) and listen to it. I enjoy oldies rock, pop rock, alternative rock, Native American drumming and singing, blues, country, classical, religious, celtic, really anything. Jazz is probably the only kind I would not seek out, but with the right person in the right place...

I am looking for a woman who is passionate about life. I want someone who is willing to give and take in a relationship. I want someone who is optimistic, sees the good that can be done and does it. Someone who shares my love of learning. Caring, sharing ready to try something new, cause I will try your new, too (most of the time).It's hard to wait around for something that you know may not happen but it's even harder to give up when you know it's everything you've ever wanted!!
