My St. Paddy's Story
After working 7.5 hours on a Saturday I ended up waiting for the 5:30 pm train. It was a chaos at Chicago Union Station. It was as if everybody was waiting for the 5:30. I managed to board the train quickly and I found my favorite seat on the 2nd floor. It was 5:24 pm. Two minutes later a girl and her pals sat close to me. It looked like all of her pals were couples and she was lonely.
"Hi!", she said.
"Hi, how are you?", I replied.
"I'm beat and drunk and tired...and you?", she asked with a huge smile on her face.
"I'm just tired. Did not go to the Parade.", I said.
"Ooowhhh! What a shame! You missed the best parade ever!", one of her pals said.
"I'm Linda by the way", the drunk girl said and extended her arm to me.
"Nice to meet you, Linda. I'm Susan", I said and shook her arm firmly.
By the time I realize what's going on she was sitting on my knees and her lips collided with mine.
I didn't retreat as I had nowhere to run or move. She had me cornered, so I gave in to her attack. I kissed her back and I felt her hands go under my shirt. I did the same and she did not seem to mind. I felt adrenalin rush into my body as grabbed on my back with both of her hands.
She sat on the seat next to me, smiling, while we were woooed by her pals.
"Are you a student?", she asked.
"I graduated. Bachelor's in Finance. What about you?", was my response.
"I'm an accounting major at DePaul", she mumbled. "One more year until I graduate."
She hugged me again, laying her head on my shoulder.
"I have to go to the bathroom", she whispered in my ear.
She stood up and made her way downstairs. The train bathroom was in the next train car, so she went in that direction.
Five minutes passed and she was still out there.
My stop was next so I prepared myself to step off the train. I put on my winter coat and hat. I slowly made my way downstairs hoping she'll come back. She didn't.
The train stopped and I stepped off, knowing I'll never meet her again.
darn shame I bet this story could have got interesting
