Ran A Nude 5k Race I had always wondered about running a race naked and got my chance several years ago at a nearby nudist resort that hosts their annual Fig Leaf 5k Run. I drove up to the resort the morning of the race and noticed a mixture of clothed and nude people milling around the registration area. Ok, I thought, this is a nudist resort and I'll be damned if I am going to pick up my registration packet fully clothed.
I stripped of my shorts and shirt and headed to the registration area wearing only a smile and my sneakers only to find that there was still a mixture of clothed and nude runners hanging around. I stepped up to the table that was appropriate for my last name and told the clothed lady behind the table my name. She didn't even bat an eye that I was standing there bare ass naked right in front of her, but I found it a slight turn on that I was standing there talking to her while she was clothed. She found my name and handed me my packet and race T-shirt. She then asked me if I had signed the photo permision form so she would know what color of number to write on my upper arm. I told her I had signed it and she wrote the # 8 on my arm, I guess since there was no where to pin on a number....ouch. I took the stuff back to my car and dropped it off before heading to the start line.
When I arrived at the start line there were about 35 people standing around waiting with about half of them still clothed. There were maybe 15 women in the group and about half of them were nude. As we got down to 5 minutes before the start several more runners of both sexes appeared and those with clothing began talking it off and setting it beside the road.
A lady standing next to me began stripping and asked me to hold her clothes while she stepped out of her shorts. She told me she was a little nervous about getting naked, because a bunch of her friends were going to run it as a group. Everyone had chickened out and she said she had almost backed out of the whole thing too. She decided to go for it, despite her group backing out. I told her I was there by myself too just to see what running around naked without shame or embarrasment was like. The starter was barking out instructions to us as I handed her clothes back and told her I would see her at the finish line.
A few moments later, the gun when off and the naked group started out of the starting area. I must admit is was very exhilerating to be running totally naked in the great outdoors. Being in the middle of about 45 naked runners of all shapes and sizes was pretty wild too. It was a very strange sensation to have my balls and cock bouncing around with each step, but I discovered it was not uncomfortable. The air on my skin as I ran was one of the nicest feeling ever. The race made three loops around the resort before ending up near the pool complex and was lined along the way with clothed and unclothed spectators cheering us on.
I lost track of the lady I had been speaking to at the start, but hoped I would see her at the end of the race. When I crossed the finish line and grabbed a water, I did not see her yet. I watched as several naked runners, both men and women, came bouncing and bobbing across the finish when I spotted her making her way down to the finish line as well. Once she came across and began to cool down, I caught up with her and asked her how she did. She indicated she had done fine and was amazed at the feeling of running over 3 miles totally naked. She said her friends had missed out on an awesome experience.
We hung around together by the pool and hot tub for several hours that day and I had the chance to notice that we were pretty close in age and that she had a nice body on her.
